Illustration Friday: Missing

This is my first go at participating in the Illustration Friday thing. Please keep in mind that I have no professional art training and no special software, but I really enjoyed myself while making the image. I initially sketched a lovely image, but then I couldn't scan the thing, so I recreated it digitally. I did this on the artPad. I'll call it "Gazed."

Who is she missing? What is she missing? I don't know. Maybe her kitty ran off, and she's ready to burst into tears. Maybe it's her first day at college and she misses her home. Perhaps she's on a diet and is thinking about chocolate. You decide.
