An Introduction to Gouache
I bought a beginner's pack of gouache paints (pronounced "gwash"), and thought I'd give it a try. It's a bit like watercolors, but opaque and more stunning in color. This is my second attempt (the first attempt isn't too lovely)...
I think it's a bit 1920's-ish, and that it was worth hanging.
Sorry about the lousy picture quality. But in the top mirror, you can see my collage-style neck portrait, which I think is pretty neat.
